Atlanta KATL
Thank you for downloading my scenery. This file contains a complete remake for Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson. It includes revised and repositioned terminals, jetways, and vehicles. The new runway 10/28 is also active with the I-285 tunnel and active ILS per Airnav's website. All terminals have accurate parking assignments per the ATL website as a feature of the included AFCAD. This scenery was built using Abacus' EZ-Scenery program. Update: The included AFCAD now refects the new Taxiway V which allows arriving aircraft on 26R to taxi to the ramp, around the end of 26L, without having to cross 26L. New taxiway signs and a blast fence are included. The real-life Taxiway V actually dips down 30 feet below 26L so that taxiing aircraft do not become an obstruction to departing traffic. Unfortunately, it is impossible to create any change in elevation on any taxiway, runway, or ramp area in a single AFCAD, so we will have to make do. The old control tower is gone, and the new control tower is in place, but it is not accurately represented and is meant to be viewed from afar. Finally, due to improper AI behavior, the "all runways active" feature has been disabled. Runway 10/28 has been closed to arrivals, but it is still fully functional with ILS. You may land on 10/28, but ATC will not clear you to do so. It seems to work better this way instead of watching AI planes landing all over the place. Also when 10/28 is active for landing, every AI arriving from the South heads for 10/28 and noone uses 9R/27L, at all. It is very unrealistic.
